Join the Xtremely Clean Janitorial Services team as an Experienced Part-Time Night Cleaner supporting our Bartow facilities.

The selected candidate will be responsible for cleaning multiple assigned buildings during the same evening route. This is not a single-building position. Employees must have reliable transportation and be prepared to travel directly between assigned locations during the scheduled shift.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of multiple commercial or municipal facilities during assigned evening and nighttime hours.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize surfaces, and remove trash throughout assigned facilities.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, toilets, fixtures, showers, and high-touch surfaces.
- Clean offices, hallways, entrances, breakrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Empty waste receptacles and replace liners.
- Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies as required.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuums, floor machines, buffers, and chemical sprayers.
- Perform routine floor-care tasks, including mopping, buffing, polishing, and applying approved cleaning products.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely by following company procedures, product labels, Safety Data Sheets, and sanitation protocols.
- Follow proper color-coded cleaning procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
- Lift, carry, move, and properly store cleaning supplies and equipment using safe lifting practices.
- Follow all workplace safety, chemical-handling, and accident-prevention procedures.
- Complete assigned facilities within the approved route schedule and labor hours.
- Secure each facility after cleaning and follow all key, alarm, access, and building-security procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns, damages, supply shortages, safety hazards, or security issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with basic facility-related tasks and promptly report any repairs that require professional attention.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, client representatives, and facility personnel.
- Complete required checklists, photographs, timekeeping records, and work documentation.
Qualifications
- Previous professional janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience is required.
- Experience cleaning commercial, industrial, government, office, educational, or similar facilities is preferred.
- Experience operating vacuums, floor buffers, floor machines, and other custodial equipment is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safe chemical handling is required.
- Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
- Must be able to work independently during evening and nighttime hours with minimal supervision.
- Must be capable of completing multiple assigned buildings during the same shift.
- Must be able to safely lift and carry supplies and equipment.
- Must be physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Must have a working smartphone for scheduling, communication, timekeeping, photographs, and work documentation.
- Must be able to pass required background screening and employment verification.
Transportation and Route Requirements
This is a multi-building route position. The selected employee will be required to travel between assigned facilities during the same shift.
Applicants must:
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have reliable personal transportation.
- Be able to travel directly from one assigned building to the next.
- Follow the established route and building schedule.
- Clock in and out according to company timekeeping procedures.
- Complete every assigned facility before ending the shift.
Candidates who do not have reliable transportation or who are only seeking a single-building assignment will not be a good fit for this position.
