The Part-Time Accounting Clerk will provide essential administrative and clerical support to the Accounting Department. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate and organized financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of daily accounting tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to handling confidential information with integrity. Drug test required.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry and Processing: Accurately enter and process financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports, into the accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, CDK).
- File Management: Organize, file, and retrieve paper and electronic financial documents, including vendor invoices, customer billing, bank statements, and tax forms, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Administrative Support: Handle general clerical tasks such as scanning, copying, preparing mailings, and answering department phone calls or emails.
- Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to company policies and accounting standards, ensuring the confidentiality of all financial data.
Hours
- Flexible hours between 8:00AM and 4:00PM Monday through Friday. Total hours will range between 30-34 hours/per week.
