Material Handler

Mission of the role & responsibilities

We are seeking a dedictaed and detail-oriented material Handler to join our dynamic team. The Material handler will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our production, ensuring materials are handled safely and effectively. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Delivery of products to the manufacturing Line
• Ensure all delivered products and materials are staged in the proper areas
• Rotate materials as needed in all production areas by setting up the appropriate materials needed per shift.
• Maintaining inventory organization on all materials witha handheld scanner
• Assist in weekly, bi-weekly and monthly cycle counts for inventory control
• Prepare rejected film roles for return to vendor
• Perform all WM transactions in real time
• Cross train in Shipping and Logistics to fill in as needed.

Required qualifications

• Forklift experience
• Proficient in order picking and material handling techniques
• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems
• Understanding of safety protocols, particularly OSHA standards, within a warehouse setting
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a Team-Oriented Environment while being self-motivated
