What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Associate position at XSG-S?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Strong knowledge and proven technical skills in the areas of tax compliance and planning, for high-net-worth individuals. Trust experience helpful.
- Experience in multi-state individual taxation
- Exposure to information returns of U.S. persons invested in foreign corporations/entities
- Demonstrated experience in research and writing on a wide variety of tax matters impacting high net worth individuals
- Ability and desire to provide innovative tax planning solutions and strategies including the ability to effectively present same to clients
- Ability to accurately and timely address client needs and actively participate in client discussions and meetings
- Proven success as an innovative individual contributor and team member
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively participate in new client acquisition activities
- Accurately managing client service time budgets
Other Requirements and Desires:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Currently licensed CPA (or commitment to pass CPA exam before being promoted to Manager with subsequent obtaining of licensure), Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar;
- Advanced taxation degree helpful;
- Accounting software knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks;
- 1-5 years CPA firm experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
