What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Performance Marketing Specialist position at XRHealth?
About XRHealth
XRHealth is the global leader in immersive healthcare, delivering FDA-listed virtual reality therapy devices directly to patients at home. Our VR therapy platform is covered by Medicare and the VA, and is actively improving outcomes for patients managing chronic pain, stroke recovery, mental health, and more. With over 1 million VR therapy sessions completed and 50,000 patients treated, we're scaling fast, and we need a performance marketer who can grow with us.
The Role
This is a hands-on ownership role. You'll manage and optimize our paid acquisition engine across Meta and Google, driving measurable patient growth. You'll own the full paid media function: strategy, execution, measurement, and optimization, as an experienced individual contributor.
You'll work closely with our Marketing Director and collaborate across creative, data, and enrollment teams. You'll have real budget authority, real impact on growth, and direct visibility to leadership.
What You'll Do
Paid Media Execution & Ownership
- Plan, launch, and manage campaigns across Meta, Google Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Display, Discovery, and Demand Gen
- Manage day-to-day campaign management: bids, budgets, audiences, creatives, and targeting
- Ensure accurate campaign setup, tracking, and platform configuration
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance daily and act on what you find
- Continuously improve CAC, conversion rates, and ROAS
- Run structured A/B tests across creatives, messaging, and landing pages
- Optimize bids, audiences, placements, and creative performance
- Optimize conversion paths and landing page performance
Measurement & Analytics
- Own the performance tracking stack: GA4, tag management, attribution tools, and dashboards
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports with clear, actionable insights
- Track KPIs, identify issues early, and measure performance against acquisition goals
- Partner with the data team on lead quality, pipeline attribution, and reporting
Channel Expansion
- Identify and lead testing across new and emerging paid acquisition channels
- Brief creative teams on high-performing ad asset needs
- Communicate performance clearly to non-platform stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- The most important thing: you've run paid media campaigns for a U.S. audience in a regulated or health-adjacent category, and you understand what that means for compliance, creative, and targeting.
Required
- 3 years managing paid media campaigns with hands-on Google Ads and Meta Ads execution
- Proven experience managing $50K monthly ad spend
- Experience in U.S. healthcare, health & wellness, telehealth, insurance, medical devices, or senior-focused D2C marketing
- Working knowledge of healthcare advertising compliance and HIPAA-aware practices
- Strong analytical skills across GA4, attribution tools, dashboards, and spreadsheets
- Experience producing clear performance reports and translating data into decisions
Strong preference
- Direct experience marketing to Medicare-eligible (65 ) audiences
- D2C patient or member acquisition experience
- Familiarity with Medicare or VA advertising guidelines
Nice to Have
- HubSpot experience (we'll train the right person)
- Experience with medical devices, telehealth, or health subscriptions
- Experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
You'll Thrive Here If...
You're happiest operating Google and Meta Ads, inside spreadsheets, and reviewing dashboards. You spot patterns others miss and make decisions based on evidence, not intuition. And you can explain what's working and why to people who don't live in the platforms, clearly, confidently, and without jargon. And you care about the end result: patients getting access to care that actually works.
