Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk & Reception: Greet incoming customers, check valid government-issued IDs, verify ages, and manage customer intake/check-in processes accurately.
- Customer Service & Sales: Guide customers through our menu, offering tailored product recommendations based on individual preferences, needs, and dosage limits.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge on various cannabis strains, concentrates, edibles, topicals, and consumption methods.
- POS & Transactions: Efficiently process transactions using the point-of-sale system, handling cash accurately.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to state and local cannabis regulations regarding age limits, purchase maximums, and privacy standards.
- Store Maintenance: Help keep the reception area, retail display area, and sales counter clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old (as required by California state regulations).
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or receptionist roles (cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle cash transactions accurately.
