We are seeking a process-oriented manager to support the Company’s accounting function in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, GL Accounting, the Accounting Manager is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures. We are seeking a process-oriented manager to support the Company’s accounting function in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, GL Accounting, the Accounting Manager is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures. Responsible for the close process for 5 subsidiaries plus corporate. Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or review journal entries, invoices, etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closings.
- Complete balance sheet account reconciliations on a pre-established calendar schedule.
- Assist in the analytical review of monthly results to ensure accurate accounting records and reporting
- Supports the preparation of the 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports, including supporting footnotes for SEC filings. Prepares various supporting schedules to support the filings.
- Provide support to external auditors in connection with the annual audit.
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
- Complete accounting research regarding new and existing accounting rules and related reporting requirements.
- Coach, train, develop and mentor accounting staff.
- Lead and support ad hoc special projects as required.
- Competitive Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance with an Accounting emphasis
- CPA preferred
- Big 4 public accounting experience is preferred
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Ability to manage independently and partner with others to obtain results
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills
- An attitude of "continuous improvement" and constant desire to improve efficiencies
- Ability to lead complex projects that require influence and implementation across business groups and functions
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to manage internal and external client expectations
- Proven success working well under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Must be a "self-starter" with a problem-solver attitude, ability to multi-task
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
