Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, self-starter and detail-oriented Marketing Intern for the summer of 2026 to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and event planning within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing initiatives, digital engagement, and contributing to our presence at trade shows.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations & Internal Support:
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) to create presentations, reports, and other marketing materials.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining marketing data and documentation.
Influencer Identification and Outreach:
- Research and identify key influencers in the physical therapy and rehabilitation market, including:
- Popular podcast hosts.
- Social accounts with significant engagement.
- LinkedIn thought leaders and professionals.
- Keynote speakers and industry experts.
- Develop and execute a plan to engage with influencers to promote UGen’s brand and products.
Event Planning and Trade Show Support:
- Collaborate with the team on trade show planning, including:
- Merchandise selection and giveaways.
- Scheduling and coordination of event logistics.
- Work with suppliers on the design and development of UGen branded merchandise, including clothing, mugs, and other giveaways.
- Travel to trade shows (if applicable) to assist with booth setup, customer engagement, and brand representation.
Digital Marketing and Analytics:
- Support execution of digital marketing initiatives across social media, email, and web channels.
- Draft, schedule, and optimize content for LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Monitor digital campaign performance and summarize insights using basic analytics tools.
- Conduct research to support keyword strategy, competitor analysis, and content planning.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing activities with business objectives.
- Attend team meetings and contribute ideas to drive marketing success.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Strong research and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong proficiency using AI tools to support content creation, research, and marketing workflows.
- Experience with content creation or analytics tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, Google Analytics).
- Enthusiasm for the physical therapy and rehabilitation industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Availability to travel for trade shows, if required.
