Responsibilities
SAP WMS Operations
- Administer daily warehouse transactions using SAP WMS (WM / EWM) including goods receipt, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping
- Monitor and resolve SAP WMS errors, exceptions, and blocked tasks
- Create, release, and confirm warehouse tasks, transfer orders, and inventory movements
- Maintain accurate system records for stock status, storage bins, and handling units
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation in SAP
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and root causes
- Manage stock adjustments, bin-to-bin transfers, and material status changes
- Report on inventory levels, aging, and space utilization
- Maintain warehouse-related master data in SAP (storage bins, storage types, material attributes, packaging instructions)
- Support configuration updates related to warehouse processes, under guidance of IT or SAP support teams
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls
- Coordinate inbound and outbound activities with warehouse, transportation, and planning teams
- Validate shipping documents, delivery notes, and receipts within SAP
- Ensure warehouse activities comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety requirements
- Document process issues and propose continuous improvement actions
- Support internal and external audits by providing system data and documentation
- Perform daily cycle counts
- Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity
- Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy
- Research inventory discrepancies
- Work with Warehouse Manager to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
- Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and some climbing all day.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
