What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Support Specialist position at XPC Corporation?
The Field Service Support Specialist will play an integral role in the success of the Support team.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performs startups of Uninterruptible Power Supply units at customer locations across the country.
- Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
- Serves as customer contact on technical and service related problems.
- Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations
- Provides 7x24 'On Call' services as required.
- Works with internal Service Support team to maintain continuity of standards.
Qualifying person will have strong electrical background and knowledge. This person may have military, consumer, or medical electronic repair background. Ideal person would have worked for one of several Uninterruptible Power Supply manufacturers, or third part service groups, as a field technician. This person must be available for travel, as this is a traveling technician position with preference to those residing near DEN, PHX, LAS, SAF, SLC airports.
