What You’ll Do
- Assist in managing full-cycle recruitment across technical and non-technical roles
- Source candidates using online tools, job boards, referrals, and creative outreach methods
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach and phone interviews
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate logistics in collaboration with hiring managers
- Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Help develop and refine job descriptions to reflect Xona’s voice and culture
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruiting events
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience, acting as a key representative of our mission and values
- A strong interest in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition (previous experience is a plus but not required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive mindset—you take initiative and thrive in fast-paced environments
- Ability to stay organized, multitask, and manage competing priorities
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the talent space
- Passion for space, technology, and innovation is a big plus
- Full-time, onsite in Burlingame, California (this role is not remote or hybrid)
- To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the United States (i.e. Green Card holder), or other protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
- Have experience using an ATS or CRM system
- Have worked in a startup or technical recruiting environment
- Are familiar with the aerospace or satellite industry
Range for base salary: $80-120k
