🎥 Video Content Creator & Social Media Talent (In-Person, Chicago-Based)

XO Marshmallow — the internet’s favorite gourmet marshmallow brand (and yes, the one with 1.4 million sweet-loving followers) — is looking for a creative, charismatic, and self-starting video content creator to join our woman-owned brand! This isn’t just a behind-the-scenes job — we’re looking for someone who wants to be in front of the camera, who understands the energy of YouTube creators, and who thrives in the world of viral trends, storytelling, and TikTok sounds.

If you’ve ever been told “you should be a content creator” or “you have main character energy,” this might be the role you’ve been manifesting.

✨ What You’ll Be Doing:

Creating video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and more — mostly short-form with room for long-form

Filming and editing your own content using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or your tool of choice

Staying ahead of the curve on social media trends and video formats

Showing up regularly on camera as a face of XO Marshmallow — whether it’s packing orders on TikTok Live, taking people behind the scenes in the kitchen, or taste testing our newest flavors

Collaborating directly with the Co-Founder and small-but-mighty marketing team

Engaging with our community across social platforms in a fun, authentic way

Helping to manage and schedule social posts

Analyzing post performance and bringing ideas on how we can grow, improve, and go viral

🍭 About You:

You’ve got 2 years creating content for TikTok, Reels, or YouTube

You’re extremely comfortable on camera and love creating video content that

feels organic, fun, and relatable

You understand how eCommerce brands work on social — bonus if you’ve worked for a CPG brand!

You’re an excellent editor and storyteller who can bring a concept to life quickly and cleanly

You can take an idea and run with it — no handholding required --- we want someone who is a true self starter

You know your way around a ring light and a tripod — and if not, you’ll Google it and figure it out

You genuinely love the internet, food content, marshmallows, and building a community online

You have a portfolio or social account that shows off your work and talent — and yes, we’re gonna stalk it (lovingly)

📍 Important Info:

This is an IN-PERSON role based in the Chicagoland area — you must be available to regularly work out of our Skokie production space

This is not a remote or freelance role — we want you on set, in the kitchen, and part of the team.

We’re open to part-time or full-time depending on experience.

Pay is based on experience and skill set, with room to grow
