We make a LOT of cheesecake. And we mean a lot.

Some days we're making a few hundred. Other days, several hundred more. Every single one needs to look good, taste great, and meet our standards.

We're looking for someone who likes working with their hands, can follow a recipe without improvising, and doesn't mind staying busy.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Making our cheesecakes from scratch in mini, 4-inch, and 9-inch sizes.
• Preparing crusts, sponge cake bases, fillings, toppings, and sauces.
• Baking cookies, preparing tiramisu, and handling other desserts.
• Measuring ingredients by weight and following recipes exactly.
• Keeping your workspace clean and organized while you work.

Here's what you need to know:

Our bakers start at 7 AM. This isn't a job where you're standing around waiting for something to happen. There's always something to make, clean, package, or prepare.

You'll be on your feet for most or all of your shift, typically up to 8 hours, with occasional longer days during busy seasons. You'll need to lift up to 25 pounds and work carefully around ingredients including peanuts and tree nuts.

Experience in a bakery or kitchen is great, but being dependable, willing to learn, and paying attention to details matters just as much.

And yes, showing up when you're scheduled is a pretty big deal.

A little about us:

XO desserts is a family-owned dessert shop that started in my kitchen in 2020. My daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease, and I wanted to make her a real New York-style cheesecake she could enjoy.

One cheesecake turned into a business, and that business turned into a whole lot of cheesecakes.

Everything we make matters to somebody, and we're looking for people who take a little pride in that.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
