Reach Truck Driver
Pay: $17.85
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Position Description:
- Operate a reach truck to load, unload, and move materials in and around the warehouse.
- Accurately pick and place items in high-racking systems, ensuring proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment while following all safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations, including communicating with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
- Follow all safety procedures, including wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper handling and lifting techniques.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory control, reporting any discrepancies.
- Operate other warehouse equipment as needed, such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and ensure that items are handled properly to prevent damage.
- Assist in the preparation of goods for shipment or delivery, including staging orders.
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience operating a reach truck or similar warehouse equipment is required.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining safety and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
