Location: Las Vegas, NV 89120
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Training)
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
- Full-time
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our production team in a fast-paced large format printing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on large format printing and production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Maintain printers, laminators, cutters, conveyors, and other production machinery
- Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and machinery
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
- Coordinate with production and management regarding equipment performance
- Maintain maintenance tools, work areas, and parts inventory
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, or production environments preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with large format printing equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems
- Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical documents
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment as needed
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends when required
Preferred Experience
- UV printers, flatbed printers, cutters, laminators, or finishing equipment
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
- Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge preferred
