Location: Sloan, NV 89054
Pay Rate: $20.00–$25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
- 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Heavy Forklift Operators with the ability to safely operate Hyster 280, Hyster 360, or comparable heavy-capacity forklifts.
This position requires experience transporting oversized materials approximately 40 feet long and loads weighing 10,000–20,000 lbs. Candidates must be confident operating heavy equipment in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Hyster 280, Hyster 360, or similar heavy-capacity forklifts safely
- Transport oversized materials weighing approximately 10,000–20,000 lbs.
- Safely maneuver materials up to 40 feet in length
- Load, unload, move, and stage heavy materials throughout the facility
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns
- Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines
- Maintain awareness of pedestrians, equipment, and surrounding work areas
- Assist with additional warehouse or manufacturing duties as needed
Requirements & Expectations
- Previous heavy-capacity forklift experience is required
- Experience operating a Hyster 280, Hyster 360, or comparable heavy forklift is strongly preferred
- Experience handling oversized materials and heavy loads (10,000–20,000 lbs.)
- Ability to safely maneuver materials approximately 40 feet in length
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety, weight distribution, and load stability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
