Position Overview
XL Pro Staffing & Consulting is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Henderson, Nevada. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in staffing sales, outstanding communication skills, and a passion for helping clients solve workforce challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories and target markets.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry outreach.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct regular client visits and business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
Workforce Solutions
- Assess client staffing needs and collaborate with recruiting teams to deliver qualified talent.
- Provide strategic workforce recommendations and staffing solutions.
Presentations & Proposals
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and service agreements.
- Effectively communicate XL Pro's value proposition and service offerings.
Contract Negotiation
- Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and contract terms while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with recruiting, operations, payroll, and leadership teams to ensure successful service delivery and client retention.
Networking & Community Engagement
- Attend industry events, networking functions, trade shows, and chamber events to generate new business opportunities.
Performance & Growth
- Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Maintain accurate client and prospect records within CRM systems.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 3–5 years of successful experience in staffing sales, business development, or account management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation and proposal-writing abilities.
- Consultative sales approach with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of staffing industry trends and workforce solutions.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally as needed.
