Senior Solution Architect Cloud (Microsoft)

Location: East Coast Area, Preferably NY or NJ, USA

We are looking for Solution Architects who have strong experience / expertise on Microsoft cloud-based applications migrating and modernization. They should have ideally have experience in creation solution architecture, writing proposal responses, client interactions during bid cycle, cloud migration, PoCs / assessments etc.

Job Description:

Develop Cloud migration / modernization roadmap

1. Understanding client requirements, clarifications through various channels such as formal Q&A, client meetings, workshops etc.
2. Creating comprehensive cloud migration assessment approach with clear schedule, deliverables etc. leveraging various methods, toolsets.
3. Designing right fit target architecture patterns leveraging relevant MSFT cloud services, other technologies etc.
4. Develop business case to help ROI and cost related decisions

Estimations

1. Putting together adequate effort estimates using various methods
2. Walkthrough with stakeholders (deal team comprising of pricing SME, CoEs, Delivery SPOC) for feedback and updates

Solution Elaboration

1. Creating comprehensive proposal responses, solution artifacts, proctive PoVs etc. in various formats (ppt, word, xlsx)
2. Presenting proposed solution (meeting, workshop to internal and client stakeholders, providing clarifications, incorporate feedback
3. Lead the design and implementation of POCs to validate proposed solutions, transitioning these into larger-scale engagements

Implementation & Management:

1. Explain and guide delivery teams on technical solution development
2. Share best practices, new technology offerings, new products information with customers and our client’ internal teams

Collaboration & Leadership:

1. Work across multiple teams to deliver best solution outcome to client
2. Inputs, guidance, reviews with CoEs and offerings teams to create innovative propositions for customers
3. Participation and presentations in internal and industry forums

Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills Experience:

• 10 plus years of Overall experience as solution architect delivering applications and infrastructure technologies modernization, migration experience
• 5 plus years’ experience in cloud technology (Azure is preferred) solution architecture design leveraging application, data, infra related services
• Design data architecture on the cloud, including data lakes, data warehouses, data pipelines, and data ingestion mechanisms
• Experience in running end to end solutions for medium to large scale RFP responses
• Experience in managing / orchestrating outcomes across various teams across global locations
• Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to articulate technical concepts.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent technical expertise primarily in Azure Cloud with exposure to one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) for applications migration, modernization, data modernization
• Experience in architecting applications leveraging containerization, Cloud native (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Hybrid / Multi-Cloud, Hardware OEMs, Network, Security, DevOps toolset, FinOps, iPaaS and APIs, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of AI / Gen AI concepts, latest offerings by leading hyperscalars and usage in solutioning
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles

Personal Attributes:
