Job Description:
We are looking to add a dynamic and talented Client Relationship Specialist focusing on Life Sciences Clinical Services.
This role will support the Client Partner in driving the opportunity life cycle.
Location: Anywhere in New Jersey OR commutable distance from Edison, NJ
Key responsibilities:
- Client Management: Develop relationships with customer’ key executives like Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development Functional Heads, Therapeutic Area Heads, Procurement Leadership, External Alliances team & Clinical Technology team
- Explore opportunities to cross / up sell, ensure timely resolution of key escalations / concerns from customer and put in place mitigation plan
- Collaboration and Networking
- Planning: Forecasting and business planning, inputs for account planning, review of delivery plans and budgets
- Team Management: Identify and assign appropriate roles to direct reports. Set reasonable, challenging, and clear performance goals, monitor performance and provide appropriate feedback to direct reports.
- Revenue Management: Drive revenue / profit growth targets. Drive pipeline targets through demand creation
- Good in Key Attributes: Strategic Thinking, Customer Orientation, Communication, Leadership, Result Orientation, Business Acumen, Team Skills and Organization & Planning.
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal)
- Experienced negotiation skills, formal presentation skills
Experience:
- Overall, 8 to 12 years of functional experience in clinical development function ideally in pharmacovigilance &/or regulatory affairs in Pharmaceutical Industry, IT/ITeS organization and/or global CRO.
- Should have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or a similar role
- Proven track record of retaining and growing accounts
- Apply deep functional clinical domain expertise to drive pursuit sales cycle
- Build client relationships as a trusted partner
- Contribute on business cases, proposals and sales pursuits in the areas of Clinical Data Management, Regulatory, Medical Writing etc.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability working together with Subject Matter Experts/Delivery Leads
- Contribute to the account leadership and practice team
Qualifications:
- 13 years total experience
- 7 years in R&D or Clinical Services
- 3 years in IT Sales or related program leadership experience
- Deep functional understanding in the R&D areas (Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Medical Writing etc.)
- Pharma or Consulting work experience preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Important:
- Not looking for IT expertise, more interested in domain selling role like clinical services or medical services
- 60% domain knowledge, worked on the business side and created/defined process/seller's process

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
