What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Plow Driver position at Xceptional Inc.?
MUST have a VALID driver's license & experience operating a plow truck. We love that many have enthusiasm & the desire to plow snow, but this role will only be filled with someone who has experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate snow plow equipment to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and sidewalks
- Monitor weather conditions and respond to snow removal requests in a timely manner
- Safely navigate and maneuver the snow plow vehicle to effectively clear snow and ice
- Spread salt or other de-icing materials as needed to ensure safe travel surfaces
- Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including time spent and materials used
Experience:
- Previous experience operating snow plow equipment needed
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in groundskeeping and landscaping
- Knowledge of proper snow removal techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
