Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Snow Shoveler to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role involves clearing snow from walkways, driveways, and parking areas to ensure safety and accessibility during winter months. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment related to landscape and snow removal tasks. Prior experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or construction is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in all weather conditions while contributing to the safety and appearance of our properties.
Responsibilities
- Clear snow from designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, or other hand tools
- Operate equipment such as snow plows or small excavators when necessary
- Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent ice buildup
- Maintain safety protocols during snow removal operations
- Assist with other landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and irrigation as needed
- Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members to complete snow removal efficiently and safely
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods
- Physical stamina and strength to shovel snow and operate manual tools
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with power tools, hand tools, or small machinery is preferred
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or construction is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques such as hardscape installation, tree care, or horticulture is a plus
- Familiarity with equipment like excavators or irrigation systems is beneficial
- Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation and availability during winter months for scheduled shifts

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
