What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Shoveler position at 09?
Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Removing snow and/or ice on assigned residential properties on an “as needed” basis
- Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
The primary function of this position is to remove snow and/or ice using a shovel or snowblower on walkways, steps, exterior stairways, etc.
The snow shoveler may also be required to spread salt or sand on walkways, steps, exterior stairways, etc. on an as needed basis to prevent slippery or potentially hazardous conditions for pedestrian traffic.
Experience:
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Familiarity with snow blowers
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
We work in the Shakopee, Savage and Victoria area.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
- Weekends as needed
