Seeking a highly skilled Sr. Data Center Network Engineer to design, deploy, and validate modern data center network fabrics using Cisco Nexus technologies. The role focuses on VXLAN/EVPN architecture, Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC), and spine-leaf designs, ensuring scalable, high-performance, and resilient network infrastructure across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and deploy Cisco Nexus (N9K) switches in data center environments
Build and manage VXLAN/EVPN fabrics using Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC)
Implement spine-leaf architecture and ensure optimal fabric connectivity
Perform base network configurations including VLANs, trunking, vPC, and LACP
Configure Layer 2 and Layer 3 services such as SVIs, routing, and OSPF
Configure and validate VRFs, tenant segmentation, and overlay networking
Ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream network infrastructure
Troubleshoot network performance, latency, and connectivity issues
Conduct validation testing and ensure end-to-end fabric functionality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployment across multiple data center sites
Provide technical documentation and configuration details
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in network engineering with strong focus on data center environments
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 (N9K) platforms
- Strong expertise in VXLAN/EVPN architectures
- Experience with Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC)
- Solid understanding of:
- VLANs, trunking, vPC, and LACP
- Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking (SVIs, routing protocols like OSPF)
- Spine-leaf data center architectures
- Ability to configure, deploy, and validate end-to-end network fabrics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-site VXLAN or data center interconnect (DCI)
- Familiarity with automation, templating, or scripting within NDFC
- Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE (Data Center preferred)
- Experience working in fast-paced, short-term deployment projects
