About the Role

XCEL is looking for candidates for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) In-House Staffing Recruiter position at our main location in Waukegan, Illinois. Our recruiters provide full-service recruitment for skilled labor / industrial positions for our clients in the light industrial areas throughout Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. These positions include but are not limited to: warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, shipping & receiving, pickers/packers, material handlers, forklift drivers, machine operators, and quality control. Shift and Hours

Work 8 hours daily, between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Recruiters need to be flexible with their schedule and may have to work occasional overtime, including weekends and some holidays.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Recruit talent using various platforms.
• Conduct interviews, screen and make job offers to prospective candidates.
• Prepare necessary documents, job descriptions, screen tests, and interview questions for clients.
• Prepare candidates to meet client’s requirements through providing safety training, GMP training or any other related training.
• This position may include daily travel around the area meeting with our customers.

Requirements

•  Experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or Staffing is highly preferred
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) communication required
• Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
• Previous recruiting in a high-volume environment
• Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Interviewing Skills
• Strong Organizational, Time Management, and Multitasking Abilities
• Proficiency in Candidate Sourcing Techniques and Use of Applicant Tracking Systems
• Must pass a background check and drug test

Benefits and Pay

The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 depending on experience.
