We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT professional to join our team in Denver, CO, providing Level 2 helpdesk support in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This role is central to a large-scale device refresh and deployment initiative, responsible for ensuring employees across the organization are equipped with the right technology to do their jobs effectively. The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex technical problems, communicates clearly with end users, and takes ownership of hardware lifecycle management from imaging and deployment through recovery and recycling.
Responsibilites
Deploy new devices to existing users as part of an ongoing PC refresh program
Provision and deploy devices for new hires, coordinating timing and logistics with hiring managers
Image devices using current tools and support the transition to Microsoft Autopilot
Deploy and ship peripherals to end users as needed
Provide hands-on end user support during device and peripheral deployments
Follow up with users to ensure timely return of old and retired devices
Manage the recycling and proper disposition of decommissioned hardware
Conduct weekly physical and system inventory of all devices and peripherals
Manage and resolve assigned helpdesk tickets, escalating complex issues to Level 3 support as appropriate
Answer advanced questions related to the installation and operation of supported products and technologies
Maintain and support personal computers, servers, LAN/WAN infrastructure, software, and data communications technologies
Skills
Proficiency in PC imaging, configuration, and deployment processes
Familiarity with Microsoft Autopilot and modern device provisioning workflows
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and standard enterprise software
Experience supporting LAN/WAN, networking fundamentals, and data communications
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues at a Level 2 support tier
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deployments and appointments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with end users and hiring managers
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow through on open items such as device returns
Attention to detail for accurate inventory tracking and asset management
Experience
2+ years of experience in a helpdesk, desktop support, or IT field technician role
Demonstrated experience with hardware lifecycle management including deployment, refresh, and decommission processes
Experience coordinating device deployments with HR or management teams in a corporate environment
Hands-on experience with ticketing systems and structured IT support workflows
Qualifications
CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification preferred
CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft certifications a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
