Job Responsibilities
- Process student, family, departmental, and third-party payments accurately and in accordance with university cashiering procedures and internal controls.
- Provide front-line customer service to students, families, faculty, staff, and campus partners by answering questions related to payments, student accounts, billing, and university procedures.
- Balance daily cashiering activity, prepare supporting documentation, and assist with timely reconciliation of payments, receipts, and deposits.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, account questions, and transaction issues.
- Support daily Bursar’s Office operations by maintaining accurate records, safeguarding confidential information, and contributing to a professional, welcoming service environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate’s degree or some coursework in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
- 1 year of general experience is required. Experience cashiering, payments, and/or making deposits is preferred.
