Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass background check
- Experience in customer service, security, or campus operations preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
Must be able to work morning, evening, and night shifts.
Must be flexible as staff may rotate between assignments based on coverage needs.
Work Hours
Parking Garage & Residence Hall Front Desk Shifts
- Day: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Evening: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Overnight: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
- Sunday through Thursday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Knowledge, Education, Experience, and Proficiencies
- Experience in customer service, security, or campus operations
- Ability to remain professional, alert, and courteous, especially during overnight shifts
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- High school diploma or GED required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Description
Parking Garage Attendant
- Monitor lot activity and enforce campus parking regulations
- Assist visitors and students with parking inquiries
- Report safety hazards or maintenance concerns
- Serve as first point of contact for residents and guests
- Enforce access control and visitor policies
- Respond to student inquiries and minor incidents
- Maintain daily logs and front desk records
- Supervise overnight use of library facilities (Sunday through Thursday)
- Assist late-night patrons and ensure a safe, quiet environment
- Perform routine safety checks and respond to low-level incidents
- Submit nightly reports and escalate concerns as needed
