A global fintech are seeking a SVP of Business Development to join their team. You will lead efforts to grow enterprise sales across Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks and Credit Unions. This is a senior, revenue-generating role focused on driving growth for our innovative technology solutions tailored to the wholesale banking sector.
Responsibilities for the SVP of Business Development include:
- Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks and Credit Unions
- Develop and manage senior relationships across Treasury, Payments, Transaction Banking, and Liquidity teams
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles from origination through contract close
- Position and articulate value across wholesale banking use cases
- Navigate procurement, compliance, and regulatory requirements within large financial institutions
- Collaborate with Product, Pre-Sales, and Executive Leadership to tailor solutions to client needs
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management
Requirements for the SVP of Business Development include:
- 15 years of enterprise sales experience in financial technology
- Proven experience selling technology solutions into wholesale banking environments
- Demonstrated success closing multi-million-dollar deals with Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks
- Strong network within banking Treasury, Payments, and Transaction Banking functions
- Consultative sales skills with experience managing negotiations with senior executives.
