Title: Kitchen Production Lead

Location: Tucker, GA

Hours: Full-Time — Up to 60 hours/week (weekday availability required)

Pay: $18/hour — approximately $56,160 per year

About Us

[PICKLES] by Evergreen & Market is a woman-, veteran-, and minority-owned gourmet pickle brand based in Atlanta. We make 40 small-batch flavors from scratch using real ingredients, and we’re growing fast. We’re looking for a Kitchen Lead who can take charge of daily production, maintain high quality, and keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Your Role

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll manage a small team, prep and cook batches, and make sure everything in the kitchen stays clean, on time, and consistent.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily prep and batch production using standardized recipes
• Supervise 1–2 kitchen assistants, keeping shifts on track
• Follow all sanitation, sealing, and labeling procedures
• Ensure jars are properly filled, sealed, and cooled
• Track usage of ingredients and alert operations to low inventory
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen space
• Report production errors or spoilage promptly

Requirements

• Experience in a kitchen or food production setting
• Leadership qualities — ability to delegate and keep the team moving
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for full shifts
• Must be reliable, punctual, and focused under pressure

Bonus if you have:

• Food Handler’s Certification or ServSafe
• Experience with jarred, pickled, or vinegar-based products
• Commercial kitchen background

Pay & Schedule

• $18/hour
• Up to 60 hours/week
• Approx. $56,160/year based on a full 60-hour week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
