Position Function:

The Director of Operations, as a member of the Senior Management Team, is responsible for the successful planning and delivery of the production plan, including all supporting tools and processes (demand and manufacturing planning, material procurement, etc.) with the end objective to deliver products that meet all specifications and quality requirements.

Requirements

Primary Roles and Responsibilities Include:

· Manage the Assembly and Test teams to ensure reliable production schedule development and delivery based on customer commitments and business objectives

· Manage shipping/receiving and stock room teams to ensure efficient execution and accurate inventory

· Establish and maintain appropriate reporting systems and metrics for measuring operational performance

· Manage material buying/planning team and develop processes to ensure appropriate planning and sufficient stock to support production plans

· Drive the execution of continuous improvement programs.

· Optimize operations to ensure reliable customer delivery and increased capacity for critical products

· Fully participate with the Management Team to execute strategic and operational objectives

· Identify and drive capital and human resource investments to support business plans.

· Participate and integrate the development of KPIs and targets.

· Partner with other key managers to manage the company and support the strategic goals of the company

· Conduct annual performance assessments with your team


Personal Qualifications:

· To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government

· 10 years. of experience in a management position within the manufacturing industry.

· Strong operations background required. Prefer candidates who understand how to drive production, efficiencies and achieve results

· Some experience with supply chain management strongly preferred

· Demonstrates solid judgment, accomplishes goals, and champions ethical business practices

· Experience with Process Improvement and Automation

· Strong Communication skills: proven track record in interacting internally and externally with executive-level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters

· Analytical: can deal with problems involving several concrete variables in complex situations; ability to review and compare data to identify inconsistencies and determine priorities

· Engaged, proactive, and positive; owns assignments and is fully accountable for their success; aligns actions, behaviors, and conversations to what matters most

· A bias for action and rapid decision making

· Knows how to recruit, build, train, and motivate a team to achieve results

· Leads by example and has a strong ability to build and maintain strong working relationships throughout the organization. Brings out the best in others and recognizes the value in every person’s contribution;

· Orientation towards mentoring to solve rather than merely identify problem areas. Proven ability to provide strong and clear decision-making and problem-solving skills as well as time management skills

· A willingness to roll-up sleeves, low ego, someone who empowers others

· A proactive communicator who builds constructive and effective relationships internally and externally and shows respect for the views and contributions of others

· Established reputation for excellence in services rendered and absolute personal integrity a must-have

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle NetSuite
