What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creative Marketing Manager position at Wyze?
At Wyze, we make smart home technology accessible to everyone. We're known for disrupting markets with high-quality, affordable products - from cameras to lighting to sensors and more. We believe technology should simplify life, not complicate it. We’re a fast-moving, customer-obsessed team driven by curiosity and powered by data.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a highly creative, hands-on designer who can turn product stories into work people notice—and want to buy.You might be designing a product box one day, a landing page or retail listing the next, and an in-store display that stops someone mid-aisle after that. Across every format, your job is to make Wyze products easier to understand, more compelling, and more memorable.
This is an end-to-end creative role. You’ll take ideas from concept through mockups, revisions, production-ready files, and final delivery to the shelf or the screen. You’ll work across packaging, ecommerce, retail, email, paid media, and other marketing channels, using strong design fundamentals and modern AI tools to make high-quality work efficiently, even when the budget is limited and the timeline is tight.
This role is a great fit for someone who wants their portfolio to show real range, real ownership, and work that ships.
What You’ll Do
Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $82,000 – $100,000 per year.
More About Us
Over the years, Wyze earned a reputation for disrupting entrenched categories and delivering products that feel almost too good to be true. That early impact brought industry recognition from Forbes, TIME, Fast Company, PCMag, and others… all signals of momentum that helped establish Wyze as a breakout brand.
Today, Wyze is focused on its next stage of company building. We’re scaling our platform, strengthening our operating rigor, and investing for long-term growth, while staying true to the belief that everyday people deserve access to great technology. This is a phase defined less by headlines and more by execution, craft, and durable impact.
Our people are central to that work. Wyze has been recognized as a Best Place to Work by Built in Seattle and Seattle Business Magazine, but what matters most is the environment we’re building now: one where smart, pragmatic builders take ownership, move fast, and shape what comes next.

What You’ll Do
- Create visual concepts and finished design work across packaging, landing pages, product detail pages, retail listings, in-store displays, email graphics, paid and social ads, thumbnails, sales materials, and other marketing needs.
- Translate product features and customer benefits into clear, persuasive visual stories for different audiences, channels, and stages of the customer journey.
- Own the creative process from brief to delivery: concepting, layouts, mockups, revisions, production files, specifications, and final quality control.
- Follow work all the way to the shelf or screen, coordinating details with internal partners, vendors, retailers, and production teams as needed.
- Use AI-enabled design tools thoughtfully to accelerate ideation, image creation, compositing, versioning, and production—while protecting brand quality, product accuracy, and customer trust.
- Build creative that works within real-world constraints, including tight timelines, limited budgets, channel requirements, and incomplete briefs.
- Partner with product marketing, ecommerce, growth, retail, product, supply chain, and other teams to understand the objective and deliver the right creative solution.
- Manage multiple projects at once, communicate progress and tradeoffs clearly, and flag risks before they become blockers.
- Contribute templates, working files, and repeatable approaches that help the broader marketing team move faster and stay visually consistent.
- Stay curious about new design tools, retail and ecommerce trends, and better ways to make great work efficiently.
- Take on other creative projects that arise as we bring new products and campaigns to market.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, hands-on design work. A portfolio is valued more than a traditional resume and may be considered in place of one.
- Demonstrated range across several of the following: packaging, ecommerce, retail, landing pages, email, paid media, social, thumbnails, presentations, or other integrated marketing creative.
- Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, hierarchy, color, composition, visual storytelling, and brand consistency.
- The ability to take a project from a rough idea to polished, production-ready creative across print and digital formats.
- Comfort working with modern AI design tools and genuine curiosity about how AI can expand creative output, speed up iteration, and make limited budgets go further.
- An entrepreneurial, self-directed approach. You see what needs to happen, make thoughtful decisions, and move work forward without waiting for every detail to be assigned.
- Strong collaboration skills and a low-ego approach to feedback, iteration, and shared ownership of the work.
- The ability to learn quickly, work with changing priorities, and maintain a high bar in a fast-moving environment.
- A dependable work ethic and follow-through from first concept to final delivery.
