In this role, one must have:
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, at all times. An Admission Coordinator is generally the first contact with Referral Partners, and must uphold a high standard of communication, behavior and attitude when communicating with other professionals.
- Ability to solve problems from a solution-based place.
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential information
- Collaborate with insurance companies and other funding sources to verify benefits and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Facilitates all incoming inquiries of prospective clients, loved ones and mental health/medical professionals with a sense of urgency and compassion
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn
- Ability to manage and prioritize daily work within acceptable departmental time frames
- Must also have experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Obtain clinical information and other medical information (as applicable) to determine appropriateness
- Be able to maintain professionalism in stressful situations
- Organize and input information into CRM databases.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience working in the treatment field
- Utilizes supervisory feedback and evaluations to improve performance.
- Able to work independently and manage a fast-paced work environment.
- Must demonstrate efficiency, time management and multitasking skills
- Makes outbound phone calls to referral partners, as assigned
- Ability to navigate Microsoft office, including Excel.

Qualifications:
2-3 years equivalent work experience in a psychiatric/addictive disease treatment facility required.
High school diploma or equivalent required
