Duties
- Assist senior technicians with vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks
- Learn to perform automotive fluid replacements, oil changes, trade-in reconditioning and recommended minor and major services.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance procedures
- Support automotive service operations by helping with vehicle inspections and basic repairs
- Participate in heavy lifting tasks and ensure proper safety protocols are followed during all activities
- Gain experience in customer service by communicating with clients about their vehicle needs and services performed
- Contribute to the overall maintenance of the dealership’s service area, tools, and equipment
Qualifications
- Dealership or mechanic experience is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive diagnostics are advantageous
- Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment safely and effectively
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
- Motivated team player with a passion for automotive repair and service technician experience is preferred
