At the **Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC)**, we believe every resident deserves world-class care in a place that feels like home. We are looking for an experienced **Registered Nurse (RN)** to join us as a **Senior Nurse**.

This is more than a nursing job; it is a leadership role. You will be a mentor to our nursing team, a teacher for new staff, and a powerful advocate for our residents. Beyond daily patient care, you will oversee clinical programs, help develop new medical protocols, and ensure our care standards are the best they can be. • Guiding and supporting staff nurses to ensure high-quality care and positive resident outcomes.
• Developing and managing clinical care plans to ensure every resident receives appropriate medical treatment.
• Leading staff orientations and training sessions to keep the team current on nursing skills and facility protocols.
• Collaborating with doctors, families, and specialists to resolve complex clinical issues and advocate for resident goals.
• Performing advanced nursing assessments, treatments, and evaluations for residents.
• Managing special projects, including the development of new facility policies and care programs.
• Participating in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure nursing coverage and support.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**

Bachelor's Degree (typically in Nursing)

• Experience:**
  
  

1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Nursing) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Nurse

• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:**
  
  

Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wyoming

**OR**

• Education & Experience Substitution:**
  
  

4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Nursing) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Nurse

• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:**
  
  

Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wyoming

***Hiring Bonus Eligibility and Conditions***

• New state employees and temporary employees accepting a permanent position.
• Current state employees accepting a promotional opportunity-recruitment must have been open to the public.
• One year of service in the position must be completed. Failure to complete this requirement will require reimbursement of the bonus with the funds deducted from the final pay.
• Internal candidates will be required to remain in the position for a minimum of (1) year from the promotion date.
• Employees will only be eligible for (1) hiring bonus in a 12-month period.
