At the **Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC)**, we help people with disabilities live their best lives. We are looking for kind, energetic people to join us as **Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs)**. You might spend your morning helping someone get dressed and ready for the day, and spend your afternoon taking them on a trip into the community or helping them with a favorite hobby. It is active, meaningful work where you get to see the direct results of your kindness every single shift.

• Being a Hero in Daily Life:** You will help residents with personal care, like getting dressed and eating, while allowing them to be as independent as possible.
• Creating Fun & Connection:** You will take residents to community outings and help them enjoy hobbies, recreation, and time with friends.
• Being a Powerful Advocate:** You will be the "voice" for our residents, making sure their needs are met and their goals are heard.
• Providing Expert Care:** You will use your training to provide physical care, assist with medical needs, and keep everyone safe during challenging moments.
• Working as a Team:** You will help keep living areas clean, attend team meetings to plan the best care, and help mentor new staff as they join the family.
• Professional Growth:** You will learn new skills through specialized training and keep your CNA certification active with our support.
  
  

**PREFERENCES/**AGENCY REQUIREMENTS: **

• Current Wyoming Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate is required.**
• Completion of internal Greenhouse (Shahbaz) training is required within 6 months of hire.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

**Education & Experience Substitution:**

2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Human Services) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Human Services Aide

**OR**

Education

Associate's Degree (typically in Healthcare)

Experience

0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Human Services) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Human Services Aide

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• CNA Certification at the time of hire
• Ability to complete Greenhouse (Shahbaz training) within six (6) months of hire.
  
  

*****This position is eligible for a $2,000 Hiring Bonus*****

****Hiring Bonus eligibility and conditions****

• New state employees and temporary employees accepting a permanent position.
• Current state employees accepting a promotional opportunity - recruitment must have been open to the public.
• One year of service in the position must be completed. Failure to complete this requirement will require reimbursement of the bonus with the funds deducted from the final pay.
• Internal candidates will be required to remain in the position for a minimum of one (1) year from the promotion date.
• Employees will only be eligible for one (1) hiring bonus in a 12-month period.
