What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional position at Wynne School District?
Primary Function:
To perform classroom instructional and clerical duties
under the guidance and supervision of the assigned teacher and/or
building administrator.
Key Duties
- Actively assist in the supervision of children.
- Actively assist in individual and group instruction.
- Perform assigned clerical, and classroom duties.
- Adhere to confidentiality requirements for students with specialized instructions.
- Perform building duties as assigned by the building administrator.
- Attend to individual needs of children as assigned (direct instruction, self-help care, toileting, wheelchair assistance, etc.).
- Accept assignments and directions from supervisors in a positive, constructive manner.
- Interact with students and staff cooperatively and positively.
- Participate in appropriate professional growth experiences as approved by the principal and support service.
- Abide by the Personnel policies approved by the Wynne Board of Directors for all classified staff.
