What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional position at Wynne School District?
Primary Function: To perform classroom instructional and clerical duties under the guidance and supervision of the assigned teacher and/or building administrator.
Key Duties
1. Actively assist in the supervision of children.
2. Actively assist in individual and group instruction.
3. Perform assigned clerical and classroom duties.
4. Adhere to confidentiality requirements for students with specialized instructions.
5. Perform building duties as assigned by the building administrator.
6. Attend to individual needs of children as assigned (direct instruction, self-help care, toileting, wheelchair assistance, etc.).
7. Accept assignments and directions from supervisors in a positive, constructive manner.
8. Interact with students and staff cooperatively and positively.
9. Participate in appropriate professional growth experiences as approved by the principal and support service.
10. Abide by the Personnel policies approved by the Wynne Board of Directors for all classified staff.
