What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at Wyndmoor Hills Health Care & Rehab Center?
Wyndmoor Hills is now hiring a Maintenance Assistant. The hours for this position are 7 AM-3 PM with rotating on-call responsibilities.
No prior experience is required. If you can show up on time every scheduled workday, ready to work, and have a basic mechanical aptitude, we can teach you everything you will need to know!
PAY RATE- $15/HOUR
RESPONSIBILITIES OF MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT:
- Perform daily air/water temperature checks, and building access security checks.
- Perform basic maintenance on plumbing, electrical, lighting, and all installed facility equipment.
- Assist with surface preparation/painting.
- Replace a doorknob, replace a faucet or drain pipe on a sink, replace a flushing valve on a toilet, troubleshoot/repair a hospital bed, replace a light switch in a florescent fixture, reprogram a tv remote, spackle and repaint a room, clear a clogged toilet or sink with a snake or a plunger.
QUALIFICATIONS OF MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT:
- MUST have your own reliable vehicle and drivers license
- Be willing to undergo pre-employment drug, health, and criminal background check.
