Job Summary
Room attendants are responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and assigned areas of the hotel to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position is fast-paced, active, and essential to the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards
Make beds, replace linens, and replenish guest amenities
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and floors
Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and remove trash
Inspect rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness standards before marking them ready
Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items
Respect guest privacy and follow Do Not Disturb procedures
Maintain an organized housekeeping cart and follow proper chemical safety procedures
Work as part of a team to ensure all rooms are completed on time
