Job Description – Maintenance Mechanic

Hours: Sunday - Thursday 3:00pm-11:30pm
Maintenance Mechanic:
Performing a wide array of maintenance throughout a printing and packaging facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting Equipment Issues. Diagnose and identify problems with plant equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions, whether mechanical, electrical, or software-related, and implement corrective actions.
- Carry out repairs on malfunctioning or damaged equipment to ensure minimal downtime, using the appropriate tools and techniques to restore functionality.
- Execute regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance, longevity, and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with other facility-related tasks as assigned, including maintaining the cleanliness of equipment, monitoring spare parts inventory, and ensuring the plant environment remains safe and operational.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and equipment maintenance.
- Strong electrical background.
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Proficient with a wide range of hand and power tools.
- Experience with printing equipment such as Bobst, Manroland, Heidelberg, KBA, and/or Komori Press is a plus

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
