Job Overview
Wynalda Packaging is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and motivated Material Handler / Forklift Operator to support production on 2nd and 3rd shift. This hands-on role is essential to keeping materials flowing efficiently throughout our facility, ensuring production teams have the supplies they need while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe, organized work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Move materials throughout the production and warehouse areas using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to transport raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods.
- Operate the jogger/aerator machine to prepare and turn stacks of paper products for production.
- Ensure the timely delivery of materials and supplies to production departments to support uninterrupted workflow.
- Pull, stage, verify, and deliver materials according to production orders and schedules.
- Assist with inventory management by identifying, labeling, storing, and tracking materials and supplies.
- Verify material quantities and product information to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Load and unload materials as needed while following all safety procedures and company standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe production, storage, and loading areas.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all company policies, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to obtain a Hi-Lo (forklift) license and operate industrial forklifts. Wynalda Packaging provides forklift training and certification.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
