Manufacturing Planning Expeditor
PURPOSE:
The Internal Expeditor will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations by ensuring the timely progression of aerospace turbine components through all external subcontractors. This position is responsible for coordinating and expediting parts, materials, and services within internal and external manufacturing processes to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Monitor and track commitments and job status through outside services to ensure adherence to production schedules and ship dates
· Actively follow up with internal departments to prioritize processing and resolve issues impacting delivery.
· Expedite parts, materials, and outside services as needed to support production requirements.
· Communicate status updates clearly and professionally to management and internal stakeholders.
· Update the ERP system with accurate and timely job status and notes.
· Assist in identifying recurring delays or process issues and recommend improvements.
· Support production meetings or priority reviews as required.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong organizational and follow-up skills with a high attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with limited supervision after training.
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365; ERP system experience preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a shop-floor environment.
