Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full-Time Cleaner for a government office building to maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and capable of completing routine cleaning tasks independently.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing office areas, restrooms, hallways, breakrooms, and common spaces
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, and fixtures
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, fixtures, and office equipment using proper tools and cleaning supplies
- Clean and maintain kitchen and breakroom areas, including sinks, counters, tables, and appliances
- Restock essential supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and other consumables to ensure the facility is always prepared
- Keep accurate monthly inventory records for cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is required
- Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners as needed
- Follow all established safety guidelines for handling chemicals and operating cleaning equipment
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Skilled in operating cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and excellent time-management skills
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Must be able to pass a facility-required background check
- Good communication skills and ability to manage tasks effectively
Schedule
- Full-time: 8 hours per day
- Monday through Friday
- Day shift: 7 am to 3:30 pm
