Skilled Carpenter / Repair Technician
Wyatt Construct LLC is hiring a Skilled Carpenter / Repair Technician to complete repair work, small projects, punch-list items, carpentry, siding repairs, trim work, doors, decks, drywall repairs, framing repairs, water damage repairs, and general construction service work.
This role is for someone who can work independently or with a small crew, understand scopes of work, communicate jobsite issues, take proper documentation photos, and complete quality work without constant supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Complete carpentry, repair, remodel, and punch-list work
- Handle framing repairs, trim, doors, windows, decks, siding repairs, and drywall patch work
- Assist with leak repair, water damage repair, and general construction service work
- Review job scope before starting work
- Take before, during, and after photos through the company documentation process
- Track materials used on each job
- Report hidden damage, extra work, or jobsite issues before proceeding
- Protect customer property and keep jobsites clean
- Communicate daily progress to the production manager or owner
- Follow company approval process before performing extra work
Requirements:
- Hands-on construction, carpentry, repair, or remodeling experience
- Ability to complete quality work with limited supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools preferred
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail and jobsite cleanup
- Willingness to follow company systems and documentation rules
Training will be provided on Wyatt Construct’s internal job-tracking and photo documentation systems.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
