What You’ll Do As An Account Manager Trainee:
- Execute direct, in-person sales presentations to potential and existing customers, effectively promoting Verizon's suite of telecommunications and technology services
- Manage a dedicated portfolio of client accounts, serving as the main point of contact and fostering long-term relationships to drive loyalty and repeat business
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and provide consultative solutions, ensuring proposed products and services align perfectly with client requirements
- Achieve and surpass all individual and team-based weekly/monthly sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., service and support) to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing satisfaction for all managed accounts
- Proactively identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base to maximize account profitability
- Track all sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics accurately using the designated CRM system
- Participate in regular sales training and performance reviews to continuously refine selling techniques and product knowledge
What You’ll Need To Be A Successful Account Manager Trainee:
- Previous experience in sales or a relevant customer-facing role (account management and/or telecommunications preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A knack for closing deals and consultative selling
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- The drive to meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
