The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving measurable cost savings and value improvements. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of indirect materials and services in alignment with organizational goals. The Senior Procurement Specialist plays a key role in optimizing procurement processes, strengthening supplier performance, and supporting operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives (RFP/RFI/RFQ) for indirect materials, services, and assigned spending categories
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contractual agreements to achieve best total value
- Manage the end-to-end Purchase Order process, purchase requisition accuracy and approval workflows
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services in coordination with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Analyze spending data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings or performance improvements
- Track, validate, and report monthly cost savings and procurement KPIs
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers in collaboration with Quality Assurance and other relevant department
- Develop and maintain supplier scorecards and conduct quarterly business reviews with critical and underperforming suppliers
- Contributes to the overall operations and to the achievement of departmental goa
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions and businesses to implement efficient intercompany purchasing practices
Experience / Education:
- Minimum 5 years of purchasing, supply chain, or relevant experience
- Business Degree or related field equivalent experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of purchasing processes and internal controls
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred, not required)
- Knowledge of procurement e-Tools (SAP Ariba Preferred, not required)
- Financial acumen and budgeting knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)
