Welder Training & Testing Institute is hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant who will serve as a resource for the NDT Director as well as public seminar participants during the inquiry and registration process. An ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills. Energetic individuals with good computer and organizational skills should apply.
Qualified candidates must have previous experience as an administrative assistant, proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience working in a fast-paced atmosphere, proficiency in math skills, telephone skills, verbal communication, professionalism, accuracy and customer focus. The candidate should be personable, reliable, & detail oriented. Proficiency in Quickbooks is preferred but not required. Candidates will have the ability to maintain confidential information, to prioritize work assignments with flexibility to quickly adapt to rapidly changing priorities and to a changing environment.
Responsibilities include:
· providing information to leads and process registrations for public seminars
· create rosters, order and ship books, prepare materials for classes
· create quotes and invoices using Quickbooks and record payments by check and credit card
· assist NDT Director as needed
· perform other duties as assigned
The position is Monday through Friday, with work hours of 8:00am-4:30pm. There may be situations throughout the month where work hours will flex in order to provide proper oversight of public seminar activities.
