We are seeking a GIS Analyst with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. Qualifications:Key Responsibilities:
- Mapping & Visualization: Create high-quality, accurate maps, visualizations, and geospatial reports for stakeholders, ensuring data is presented clearly and effectively.
- Data Management: Manage and maintain GIS databases, including updating data layers, cleaning and validating datasets, and ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Project Management & Collaboration: Support GIS projects from conception to completion, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to define requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, project documentation, and presentations. Ensure documentation of GIS processes and workflows for future reference.
- Route Planning and Facility Research: Conduct initial pipeline routing using industry standard practices. Research landowner types and other pipeline or facility locations.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest GIS technologies, trends, and industry best practices to continually improve service offerings.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional GIS experience, with a proven track record in geospatial data analysis, cartography, and GIS system administration.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with GIS software: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Google Earth Pro, QGIS, and related geospatial tools.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience in pipeline, power transmission, and/or commercial project support.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and solve spatial problems creatively.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to deliver high-quality, accurate, and reliable GIS products under tight deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Working Conditions: Must be able to work occasional weekends and fulfill after-hours requests as needed. Occasional overnight travel may be required. May be required to carry a cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
