Description
Summary: Responsible for preparing cost estimates for product manufacturing or services to aid management in bidding on or determining price of product or service.
Nature & Scope-Principal Areas of Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing cost data for proposals and contract negotiations.
- Determine project scope, define requirements, works with Sales teams and others to coordinate production, meet deadlines, and customer requirements.
- Follow the Estimating life cycle in accordance with specified standards and procedures.
- Establish quote priorities based on evaluation and analysis of overall opportunities.
- Development and implement requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports. Performs performance monitoring control functions for specific applications, including the consistent use of applicable procedures.
- Provide financial reporting, trending data. Perform data analysis and development.
- Develop and/or revise manufacturing processes, procedures, work instructions.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience: General knowledge or experience of machining and metal fabrication processes.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
- Operating knowledge and experience of SolidWorks, design software and engineering tools.
- Knowledge and experience in ISO 9001 requirements.
- Knowledge and experience in ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient with computer programs and a working knowledge of new technology.
- Functional knowledge of financial accounting.
