Laser North, a professional sheet metal and structural fabrication company, seeks an Estimator to join their team in Baraga, Michigan. WHAT WE OFFER.
- Annual salary of $65,000 or more to be based on your knowledge and experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Analyze project specifications to determine material, labor, and machinery costs.
- Use manufacturing software to derive and create CAD data for projects.
- Prepare accurate estimates and bids for fabricated metal parts and assemblies.
- Engage with clients via email, phone, and video conferencing to understand project needs, strategize, provide updates, and clarify technical details.
- Follow-up with clients to collect feedback and resolve inquiries.
- Offer technical support to clients and the production team as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- A robust combination of positive attitude, professionalism, and work experience to provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen ability to remain organized.
- 3 years’ experience in metal manufacturing preferred, but not If you’re motivated to build a career in the manufacturing industry, we will train you to be excellent.
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SolidWorks®, AutoCAD®, or other computer-based drafting programs preferred, but not required.
